Your privacy
Privacy policy
Effective date: June 23, 2026.
This policy explains what information the Committee to Elect Nathan Dugan (“the campaign,” “we,” “us”) collects through electdugan.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you join the campaign, suggest a Neighborhood Office Hours location, or contact us, we collect what you submit — typically your name, email address, ZIP code, and any message.
- Contributions. If you donate, payment is processed by our donation provider. We receive the information required to record and report the contribution; full card details are handled by the payment processor, not stored on this site.
- Usage data. Like most sites, we collect basic analytics (pages visited, general location, device and browser type) through cookies and similar tools to understand how the site is used.
How we use your information
- To keep you updated about the campaign and ways to help, if you’ve asked us to.
- To respond to your messages and to organize events, including Neighborhood Office Hours.
- To process, acknowledge, and report contributions as required by law.
- To understand and improve how the site performs.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the campaign (for example, our email, form, analytics, and payment providers), and when required by law. Montana campaign-finance law may require us to publicly report certain information about contributors, such as your name, address, and (for larger contributions) your occupation and employer, in reports filed with the Montana Commissioner of Political Practices.
Email and text messages
If you opt in, we may send you campaign updates by email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing nathan@electdugan.com. If you give us your mobile number and check the text-message box, we may also send you campaign text messages from the Committee to Elect Nathan Dugan. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies; reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. Opting in to texts is never a condition of supporting the campaign, and we do not sell or share your phone number.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and analytics tools to measure traffic and improve the experience. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; some features may not work as well if you do.
Data security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect, and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails, ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing nathan@electdugan.com. We’ll respond as required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the effective date above.
